Attendees of TESOL Training – 1

From 13 to 17 September, Imperial English United Kingdom (IEUK), accredited by “British Council”, “OFQUAL - Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation” və “IATEFL - International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language”, organized the British TESOL CPD training for partners in more than 25 countries.

Imperial English Azerbaijan (IEAZ) was represented at the training by Ulviyya Muradova, Head of the Education Department, and Kamala Ahmadli, an English Language Teaching Specialist.

The training was conducted by trainers from the United Kingdom under the guidance of Dany Mundy, an international trainer from the Great Britain.

The first day of the training, which covered theoretical and practical knowledge in various sections, provided extensive information on lesson planning, classroom management and the various roles played by the teacher during the lesson. In the following days, extensive discussions were held on the importance of student assessment and various forms of assessment, and information was provided on the basis of examples of 7 main stages of vocabulary teaching. Due to the impossibility of speaking grammatical structures without knowing words in a language, the importance of teaching vocabulary in the course of the lesson was emphasized, and in addition to vocabulary, special emphasis was placed on teaching reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Specially designed for the application of new innovative methodologies, approaches, pedagogy and assessments in English language teaching to further develop English language teaching skills, the interactive discussions provided teachers with a wealth of experience that they can use in future lesson planning.

At the end of the week-long training, the teachers were awarded the “Professional Certificate of Achievement in British TESOL” by “Imperial English UK” and official cover letter by “Imperial English AZ”.

It should be noted that IEUK provides training to state organizations (Ministry of Education, etc.), academic organizations (lyceums, colleges, schools, universities, language centers, etc.), enterprises (state and non-state companies, industrial enterprises, NGOs, etc.) and becomes a supporter by sharing his experience in improving and teaching English.
