On August 31st, the BRITISH TESOL CERTIFICATE TRAINING, developed by the Imperial English Azerbaijan (IEAZ), was completed as part of the project on the application of new innovative methodologies, approaches, pedagogy, and assessments in teaching English aimed at further development of teachers' teaching skills in English language.

Total duration of the training course was 50 hours, which included theory and basic knowledge, new teaching skills and ideas, videos, Power Point presentations, research articles and teaching notes, practical training materials, exchange of valuable experience with teachers and online seminars. The first 40 hours of the training course consisted of self-study, and the remaining 10 hours were online seminars. The seminars were conducted by Mr. Rafael Salguero, Deputy Principal of Birmingham College, Head of the Department of Teaching at Imperial English UK, world-class instructors Matt Kendrick, Eli Ghazala, Stephanie Diamond Bair and Professor Inga Diakonidze from Kutaisi International University.

Participants who successfully complete the training program have been awarded the Professional Certificate of Achievement in British TESOL CPD Training by Imperial English UK, and they also have the opportunity to participate in the TESOL - LEVEL 5 (CELTA Equivalent) training, which will be announced in July 2023, receiving a certificate of the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) of the UK upon completion, and a trip to the UK which will be announced in September 2023. The one week travel program includes TESOL training, tours to Buckingham Palace, London Eye, London Museum, Cambridge, Oxford.

It should be noted that Imperial English Azerbaijan (IEAZ) is the only official representative of Imperial English United Kingdom (IEUK) in Azerbaijan, accredited by the British Council, OFQUAL - Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation and IATEFL - International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language, and support state organizations (Ministry of Education, etc.), academic organizations (lyceums, colleges, schools, universities, language centers, etc.), institutions (governmental and non-governmental companies, industrial enterprises, NGOs, etc.) in the improvement of teachers and teaching English by sharing its experiences.
